The Olav Thons Legat was established in 2002 (previous named Olav Thons Samfunnsnyttige Stiftelse) with an initial capital provided by Olav Thon, and with the objective of providing financial assistance to:
- measures for the development and improvement of the physical, learning and stimulating environment for children, adolescents and elderly.
Assistance is provided to persons, businesses, organisations or other entities that promote the foundation’s objective in Norway.
